She has spent over 25 years in Human Resources with progressive experience in diverse areas of human resources management. Robin is a strategic and tactical leader known for her innate ability to use a lens from each experience to seize challenges, drive results, and embrace invaluable leadership lessons.
Robin’s leadership philosophy: Leadership is about development; we are not developed by our ability to deal with or be relational to others; we are developed through challenges, less-than-stellar circumstances, and the individuals and organizations that present them to us. Thus, we should always Lead with H.E.A.R.T. ~ Honesty, Equity, Accountability, Resiliency, and Transparency.
Robin is proud to be the wife and daughter of military veterans. Her husband served 32 years and her father served 20 years in the US Army. She and her husband Tim have one daughter, Brielle (Chris) and they are proud to be G-Pop and Gigi to Kai Parker Wright.

Robin has an extensive background in HR, with 31 years of experience in various roles, starting in 1992. Her journey has taken her through positions such as generalist, compensation and benefits, staffing, recruiting, business partner, senior generalist, and HR director. Throughout her career, she faced numerous challenges and opportunities that have shaped her into the leader she is today.
Makeda and Robin discuss the importance of honesty, equity, accountability, resiliency, and transparency in fostering a corporate culture where employees feel valued and heard. They highlight the significance of senior leadership setting the tone for the entire organization's culture. They also address the potential disconnects within middle management and suggest leadership development and coaching as essential tools to bridge these gaps.
Robin shares a personal story from her HR career in 2014 when she faced the challenging task of laying off 70 people. She accepted this responsibility with grace and shared how the experience taught her about true leadership, resilience, and the importance of leading with heart. Robin emphasizes the strength that lies within leaders when faced with challenging opportunities and how these experiences shape their leadership journey.
